So much time has passed since the last post…much has happened and I am on my way to achieving my educational goals. While in class, my design skills have been used and many have asked to see the kind of work I do. Sadly, my website crashed and burned two years ago and I have not had the time to get it running again. Over this past summer I started to put my own work back online. I’m working on finishing a “studio” a Artfire.com. What is great about this site is that I no longer have to worry about the safety and security of my site and work. I will be making a complete gallery of work to showcase my print design work that I have done over many years. As I move forward in my new career I am pleased to have the opportunity to show my work again.
Certain older kits will be for sale but NOT as a download on demand. This is important because I cannot monitor and update my own website anymore as time does not allow. Please also note I am NOT planning on doing new work. I need a place to showcase the work I have done both in printables and print design for business. Since I have received a few requests for these kits over the last two years, I’m happy to now make them available once again. I wish I could say that I will design again, but my studies have taken just about all the time I have. Perhaps one day I will be able to put together work that was half-finished when I left print design. Most of the designing I do these days are school presentations and projects relating to my studies. In fact, I recently completed a paper bag album for a ed. psych. project in which we explored how to teach diversity. My professor loved it so much she asked to keep it! I did take pictures and I hope that I can share that in my gallery as well. It’s not there yet…but hopefully soon!
I’ve just started putting this studio together…but you can stop by anytime and see my progress!
I’ve enjoyed keeping in touch with many through Facebook! It’s nice to keep a small part of my paper crafting life with me!
Be well!
